One of the most pure and genuine expressions that comes to mind for me is this poem I wrote about my trip to New York City. It’s all about the beauty of the city, its people, and the simple things that happen there—like hearing the rustle of summer rain in the window on last night and looking through my window at the fallen petals today.
But I think the best thing I’ve written so far is this:
When I write about people, it’s important to remember that we’re all born from love, and that love is the foundation of everything that comes after.
It’s also easy for us to forget how much joy there is in these moments, especially if they don’t seem immediately obvious. That’s what makes this poem so special—
that it feels almost like a reminder that we’re all part of the story and not just another ordinary person.
I hope you can enjoy these words as much as I do about my trip to New York City. Let’s keep the love alive, because in the end, that’s what truly matters.
This is such a powerful poem to reflect on life's journey, where each step feels like an adventure but also so small.
